Stollwood Convalescent Hospital offers short term and long term care. Our services are designed to provide therapy and nursing for all patient needs. These services include physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy. Our staff is equipped and knowledgeable in caring for those who require post-surgical, post-CVA, wound care and complications of infectious processes. Regular services include consultations by registered dieticians. Each patient has a personal, comprehensive discharge plan that keeps their safety and comfort at the forefront.

The hospital’s rehabilitation services specialize in orthopedic procedures including total hip replacement and total knee replacement. The Post-CVA care includes extensive rehabilitation to assist with neurological disorder that may affect a patient’s ambulation or transfers, activities of daily living and/or swallowing difficulties. The rehabilitation services utilize modalities for pain management such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation and TENS units, as well as whirlpool therapy to assist with wound care recovery.
Multiple levels of care are available on campus, giving residents the opportunity to move to lower levels as their condition improves.
Something is happening everyday from piano music and gospel singer performances to special day outings for picnics and BBQs.
Stollwood Convalescent Hospital is certified by Medicare and Medi-cal. The hospital also contracts with HMOs. Private pay is accepted. Referrals from area hospitals are received on a daily basis and reviewed for admission. Physician referrals are required for admission. Call the hospital for admission guidelines at 530.662.1290.
