St. John’s Retirement Village has served Yolo County for over 60 years as the only nonprofit senior residential facility in Yolo County. The Stoll family generously donated the land and funds for the Woodland campus in 1964. The Stoll family has roots in Yolo County as far back as Emil Julius Stoll, born in 1883.

In June 2023, new leadership—a new Board, Advisory team and Friends of St. John's Retirement Village—formed to re-open The Village and to provide much needed housing for our community's seniors. This dedicated group immediately went to work raising critical funds to restore the beloved campus.

FUNDS RAISED:
2023—$336,414

2024—$252,857

2025—$540,553  raised as of 10/31/25

THANK YOU to all our generous sponsors who believe in the
critical need of residential housing for seniors in Yolo County!
